Our client, an integrated marketing and pr agency based in Liverpool, have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven Client Director to join their Client Services team.  As client director, you will be responsible for the line management, mentoring, development, and progression of your team.

The Role;

This role is responsible for overseeing the effective delivery and efficient management of all client accounts assigned to them, in alignment with the agreed client KPIs, to support with the growth and retention of key accounts in the business.

As client director, you will be responsible for the line management, mentoring, development and progression of team members aligned to your skillset, in consultation with the senior team, and play a part in retaining high performing team members in the business.

What you’ll be doing;

  • Creation of 90-day plans and integrated campaign plans across all assigned accounts
  • Feeding into and quality assurance of 90-day plans, strategy recommendations and integrated campaign plans 
  • Reporting and optimisation of contract KPIs results of client projects delivered as part of 90-day sprint and campaign plans
  • Client, planning and strategy – setting the direction and pace on accounts
  • Focus on improving results to retain and grow accounts in line with sales targets set in sales plan  
  • Project team leadership on assigned accounts 
  • Quality assurance of briefs for campaign deliverables to be executed by studio team 
  • Troubleshooting escalated client issues 
  • Quality assurance of work to ensure highest quality 
  • Client expert on designated accounts and team development of sector, industry knowledge, networks and relationships 
  • Feeding into the integrated service development for sectors and optimising the model for success in the future on live accounts with support from the client operations director
  • Supporting the client operations director to create new processes for client delivery


Here’s some stuff you’ll need;

  • 4+ years of experience in client account management
  • Experience working in a busy agency environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience of using a project management system
  • Proficient in the use of media monitoring platforms
  • Creative with the ability to feed into campaign strategies
  • Proactive with the ability to spot opportunities
  • Super organised and skilled at using your initiative
  • Comfortable briefing partners (i.e. designers, videographers, producers, editors, etc.)


Bonus points for any of the following…

  • Property / tech sector experience
  • Proficient with content management systems (WordPress, HubSpot, Hootsuite, etc.)
