Our client, a leading Digital Transformation Marketing Agency based in Chester, have a fantastic opportunity for a driven Senior Account Manager to join their friendly and ambitious team. As Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the relationship of several key accounts, you will work very closely with the delivery team to ensure you maintain high levels of service quality, customer retention and growth whilst maximising services and revenue. You will have previous proven key account management experience within an agency environment.
With the offices in a converted barn only a short distance from Chester city-centre, you will be surrounded by a cluster of little villages. There is an onsite café open daily and also recently opened is a Wellness Suite, where you can book massages and manicures. Role:
With the aim of maximising our services and revenue, being responsible for managing the relationship of multiple accounts, you will work very closely with the delivery teams to ensure we maintain high levels of service quality, customer retention and growth. This will be done across your clients’ digital footprint through strategic consultancy.
The Senior Account Manager has a responsibility to understand the digital development, transformation, marketing and communications landscape, alongside the broader sector landscape and should be able to consider client and agency issues with the aim to develop and protect key client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with the Head of Client Services to manage a portfolio of accounts, and working with the relevant delivery teams to maintain and grow client happiness
- Maintain and build client relationships through regular contact and attendance of client meetings, both virtual and in person at client offices as and when required
- Prepare client proposal documents and respond to formal invitations to tender from our customers
- Work with Head of Client Services to maximise account revenue and profit opportunities to contribute towards individual and team sales targets
- Manage client budgets and forecasts including provision of full rationales behind all recommendations across their digital transformation programmes
- Be accountable for achieving agreed sales targets to support retention and growth goals for the agency
- Working with clients to direct them on the best practices to help achieve their goals
- Checking, sending and analysing monthly reports with the client
- Ensuring that account work is carried out in all services that the client is contracted for
- Creating contracts & contract renewals
Essential Skills:
- 2 years’ previous proven key account management experience in an agency
- Excellent interpersonal skills, to work and interface with individuals of various levels and backgrounds

- Ability to not take yourself too seriously and to value the benefit of a good laugh
- A good technical understanding of website build methods
- A curious mind and an empathetic nature
- Strong communication skills including high-level presentation and writing skills

- A passion for digital and an ability to communicate and enthuse others with that passion

- Good knowledge of Google Suite for creating presentations and documents
- Ability to initiate action and make decisions when required
- Ability to deal with situations of a dynamic nature; to modify plans, actions and decisions in light of changing situation and circumstances
Additional Requirements:
- Experience and awareness of Umbraco CMS
- Awareness / experience of mobile application development methods
- Experience of Hubspot CRM
